If by mistake the bracket fixing bolts were unscrewed and the bracket moved, install it in place as follows.
Turning the crankshaft of the engine in the direction of its working rotation for the bolt securing the crankshaft pulley, set the piston of the first cylinder to TDC.
Pic. 3.1–51. Alignment of the mark on the crankshaft pulley (IN) with pointer (A) on the casing
Make sure the mark on the crankshaft pulley is aligned with the pointer on the casing (see fig. 3.1–51).
Pic. 3.1–53. Location of set screw 3242 to fix the crankshaft
Unscrew the ignition timing sensor from the bracket. Instead of the ignition timing sensor, screw in the set screw 3242 (see fig. 3.1–53).
Pic. 3.1–69. Using Special Tool 3308 (1) for alignment with the flywheel ring gear
Turn out bolts of fastening of the gauge of frequency of rotation of the engine and remove it. Replace the speed sensor with special tool 3308 (pic. 3.1–69) so that it is aligned with the flywheel ring gear.
Torque tighten the ignition timing sensor bracket bolts.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
