Note. The luggage compartment floor is supplied in spare parts in three elements (the spare wheel box is made of plastic and its installation requires the use of a special polymerizing paste). Actually the floor of the luggage compartment consists of two parts: right and left.
Replacing the left or right half of the floor. Sequentially remove the rear panel and the spare wheel box. Drill out the resistance welding points at the connections to the rear side member, rear fender panel and body. Check and, if necessary, edit the spars. Check the geometric dimensions of the tailgate by reference points. Straighten and clean the mating surfaces with a grinder. Apply a layer of electroplastic paste to the spot welds of the new part to prevent corrosion. Weld a new part to the floor - side reinforcement - wheel casing by resistance welding. Weld by electric welding in a protective environment to the floor and to the floor stiffener. Weld by electric welding in a protective environment to the second half of the floor and to the wheel casing. Glue the spare wheel box. Restore the protective coating of the bottom of the floor. Check welded joints for tightness.
