Note: The luggage compartment floor is supplied as spare parts in three elements (the spare wheel box is made of plastic and its installation requires the use of a special polymerizing paste). The luggage compartment floor itself consists of two parts: right and left.
Replacing the left or right half of the floor. Remove the rear panel and spare wheel box one by one. Drill out the contact welding spots at the junctions with the rear side member, rear wing panel and body. Check and, if necessary, straighten the side members. Check the geometric dimensions of the rear end using the check points. Straighten and clean the mating surfaces with a grinder. Apply a layer of electroplastic paste to the spot welding spots of the new part to prevent corrosion. Contact weld the new part to the floor - side reinforcement - wheel housing. Weld to the floor and to the floor stiffener using electric welding in a protective environment. Weld to the other half of the floor and to the wheel housing using electric welding in a protective environment. Glue the spare wheel box. Restore the protective coating of the bottom of the floor. Check the welded joints for leaks.
