Note: The rear luggage compartment panel is supplied as spare parts in three pieces.
Drill the contact welding spots where it connects to the rear floor cross member and the rear fender trims. Prepare the mating surfaces and prime them with zinc-containing primer. Try on the new parts and check the gaps. Contact weld the panel. Apply a bead of sealant where the panel meets the trunk floor to prevent water penetration.
