Replacing the mudguard assembly with the front side member (replacement is carried out after removing the chassis units and assemblies from the front of the vehicle and checking the body floor on the inspection and repair stand) Straighten the body. Cut off the mudguard assembly with the side member. Straighten and clean the mating surfaces. Install a new mudguard assembly with the side member using templates. Secure the part and check the gaps. Weld the part to the body frame, welding the holes with electric welding in a protective basin. Apply a layer of zinc-containing primer to the seams. Seal the joints with the body interior with sealant. Restore the protective coating of the bottom. Treat the internal cavities with an anti-corrosion compound.
Replacing the mudguard assembly with the front side member
Prepare a new part. Drill holes A and D with a B mm drill. Prepare the parts for welding by welding the holes with electric welding in a protective gas.

Replacing a part of the front side member
Replacement of the front side member part is carried out after removing the chassis units and assemblies and checking the body floor on the inspection and repair stand.

Replacing a part of the front side member
Cut off the deformed part. Drill out the welding points of the deformed part of the side member (with mudguard, front shield and part of the body bottom) with a 6 mm drill. Straighten (if necessary) and clean the mating surfaces. Install the new part, secure it and check the gaps. Weld the part with a continuous seam. Apply a layer of conductive zinc-containing primer to the joint between the part and the mudguard and spot weld it to the mudguard. Smooth out the seams. Restore the protective coating of the bottom. Treat the internal cavity with liquid wax and restore the protective coating of the lower part of the side member and mudguard.
