Before installing the puller, screw the central pinion bolt into the crankshaft until it stops.
Unscrew inner part of puller -3203- by 8 turns from outer part and secure with knurled screw.
Lubricate the threaded head of the puller with engine oil, install and, pressing strongly -arrow-, screw it as far as possible into the collar. Loosen the knurled bolt and rotate the inside of the puller relative to the crankshaft until the oil seal is removed. Clamp the flat spots of the puller in a vise. Remove cuff with pliers. Clean work and seating surfaces. Do not lubricate the working edge and the outer edge of the cuff.
Fit guide sleeve -T10053/1- onto crankshaft stub. Push the cuff through the guide sleeve.
Press oil seal flush with central bolt of toothed belt sprocket and bushing -T10053-. Replace gear center bolt. The mating surfaces between the toothed belt gear and the crankshaft must be free of oil. Do not lubricate the crankshaft gear bolt. Support crankshaft gear with support -3415- and install. Install toothed belt (adjust valve timing) positioning illustrations. Install poly V-belt. Tightening torque: Toothed belt gear to crankshaft: 120 Nm + 90°. Replace bolt.
