The firing order of the cylinders is 1 - 2-4 - 5-3

Maximum engine speed:
  • NC, DE - 5100±50 rpm
  • CN — 5400±50 rpm
  • 3D — 4800±50 rpm
  • 1T — 5200±50 rpm

Idle speed:
  • NC, DE - 750±50 rpm
  • CN — 830±50 rpm
  • 3D — 850±50 rpm
  • 1T — 800 - 840 rpm

High pressure fuel pump



Setting the fuel pump injection timing, micrometer readings (after BDC):
  • NC, DE — 0.90±0.02 mm
  • CN — 0.85±0.02 mm
  • 3D — 1.00 - 1.07 mm
  • 1T — 0.35±0.02 mm

Nozzles



Injection pressure:
  • NC, DE - New 155-163 bar, Minimum 140 bar
  • CN - New 120-130 bar, Minimum 117 bar
  • 3D - New 130-138 bar, Minimum 120 bar
  • 1T - New 180-188 bar, Minimum 160 bar

Tightening torques, Nm


  • Camshaft Sprocket Bolt (1T) - 50
  • Constant pressure valve to fuel pump - 45
  • Fuel cut-off valve - 40
  • Fuel lines to the fuel pump and injectors - 30
