Warning: Brake fluid can damage your eyes and painted surfaces, so use extreme caution when handling.
Do not use fluid that has been left open for some time, as it will absorb moisture from the air, resulting in loss of braking performance.
Safety!
- If frequent refueling is required, this indicates a leak in the system, which must be immediately identified and repaired.
- If a leak is suspected, the vehicle must not be driven until the brake system has been checked. Never take a chance when the brakes fail.
1. The brake master cylinder and reservoir are mounted on the vacuum booster unit in the engine compartment on the right side of the bulkhead. The MAX and MIN level marks are marked on the side of the tank, and the liquid level must always be maintained between these marks.
2. If refilling is necessary, wipe the area around the cover with a clean cloth before removing the cover. It is recommended to inspect the tank. If the fluid is dirty, it should be noticeable.
3. Carefully add liquid without spilling onto painted surfaces. Use only the brake liquid specified in Specifications; mixing fluids of different types may damage the system and/or reduce braking performance. After filling, replace the cap. Wipe up spilled liquid.
