Note: The power steering reservoir is also used by the rear self-leveling system (where is there).
Before you start
- Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface (not downhill). On models equipped with a self-leveling rear suspension, make sure the vehicle is unloaded.
- Start the engine and let it idle, slowly turn the steering wheel from one extreme position to the other 2-3 times, and set the front wheels to the straight-ahead position, then turn off the engine.
Safety!
- The need for frequent refilling indicates a leak that must be identified and repaired immediately.

1. The power steering fluid reservoir is located on the left side of the engine compartment. Slowly loosen and remove the filler cap, which includes a dipstick to measure the fluid level.

2. Make sure the fluid level is between the MIN and MAX marks on the dipstick, preferably near the MAX mark. If necessary, wipe the dipstick with a clean cloth, then reinstall it and remove it again.

3rd If refilling is required, add the fluid type specified in the Specifications until the level reaches the MAX mark. Finally, install and tighten the cap.
