Liquid in cold condition: Do not start the engine and set the front wheels to the straight ahead position.

Oil heated to operating temperature (starting from approximately 50°C): Start the engine, set the front wheels straight. Unscrew the threaded plug with the dipstick. Wipe the dipstick with a clean cloth. Screw the cap on by hand and unscrew it again.

Check the oil level. Oil when cold: The oil level should be in the MIN mark area (up to 2 mm above or below the mark, respectively).

The oil is heated to operating temperature (approximately 50°C): The level should be between the MIN and MAX marks.
