Do not start the engine and keep the front wheels straight. Cold oil (approx. 20°C): Unscrew the cover. Wipe the oil level dipstick with a clean cloth. Screw the cap on tightly by hand and unscrew it again. This only applies to measuring the oil level with the lid previously closed. Check the oil level: the oil level should be in zone -A-.
Oil in working order (approx. 80°C): Unscrew the cover. Wipe the oil level dipstick with a clean cloth. Screw the cap on tightly by hand and unscrew it again. This only applies to measuring the oil level with the lid previously closed.
Check the oil level: the oil level should be in area -B-.
If the oil level is above the specified zone, pump out the oil. If the oil level is below the specified zone, the hydraulic system must be checked for leaks. In this case, adding oil once is not enough. Do not reuse drained hydraulic oil.
