The operation of the hydraulic booster is checked by increasing the effort on the pedals to achieve the desired braking effect.
Press the brake pedal at least 5 times with the engine off, then start the engine with the brake pedal depressed. The brake pedal should move down noticeably.
Otherwise, remove the vacuum hose from the hydraulic booster, start the engine.
Finally, by placing your finger on the hose, check for low pressure.
If there is no low pressure: check hose for leaks and damage, otherwise replace. Tighten all clamps.
100 kW diesel engine: Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump and check with a finger to see if the hose is under low pressure.
If there is low pressure: measure its value, if necessary, replace the brake booster (performed in the workshop).
