The brake light switch is located in the pedal block with the brake pedal.
Examination
Check fuse #3 in the relay box. Remove the lower trim in the left footwell. Disconnect the plug from the brake light switch.
Connect both wires of the brake light switch with an auxiliary wire. If the brake lights do not light, replace the switch or check the wiring according to the diagram.
Replacement/adjustment
Remove the brake light switch and remove the latch from the pedal assembly.
Press the brake pedal with your hand.
Press the switch on the pedal unit all the way down.
Pull the brake pedal all the way down with your hand. The brake light switch is adjusted.
Connect the plug.
Install the bottom trim.
