Attention: For cars with ABS, original tubes are used, which are not sold by the meter.
Brake hoses make flexible connections between moving and stationary parts of a vehicle.
Raise the car.
Loosen the union nuts and remove the tube.
Close the pipeline in the direction of the master brake cylinder with a suitable plug or, first, suck off the brake fluid from the reservoir.
Lay the new brake pipe in the same place if possible.
If it is necessary to replace the caliper hose, the caliper must first be removed.
Connect new brake hose without twisting and tighten to 10 Nm.
Install only factory approved hoses.
After installation, check with the wheel unloaded (the car is raised), that the hose follows the entire movement of the wheel without hitting anything.
Caution: Protect brake hoses from contact with oils or kerosene, do not paint or cover with underbody protection.
Remove air from the brake system.
Lower the car.
