Servotronic control lamp K92
The control lamp is built into the instrument cluster (driver information system). Self-diagnosis is carried out via address word 17 (instrument cluster).
Power Steering Sensor G250
The sensor is located in the steering gear valve block. It measures the steering angle and calculates the angular velocity of the steering wheel. If the sensor fails, the steering remains functional. The power steering switches to the programmed emergency mode. The driver has to apply more force to turn the steered wheels. Errors are stored in the memory of the power steering control unit J500.
Used Power Steering J500

The used power steering is built into the electric pump unit. It regulates the operation of the electric motor rotating the gear pump depending on the angular velocity of the steering wheel and the speed of the vehicle. The required pump capacity is determined by the parameter field recorded in the control unit. The used power steering detects and records errors that occur during operation. The control unit has built-in protection circuits against repeated switching on and overheating. The diagnostic connector is located in the storage compartment on the driver's side. The used power steering cannot be replaced separately.
