Vehicle Identification Numbers (Audi 100 C3)

The vehicle identification plate is located on the right side of the front panel of the engine compartment.

The engine number is stamped on the left side of the cylinder block.

The manual transmission number is stamped on the right side of the transmission, above the drive flange.

The automatic transmission number is printed inside the transformer housing, but the pass-through number is located on the top of the box body.
