Instrument panel — removal and installation (Audi 100 C3)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Guided by Section 10, remove the steering wheel.

3. Remove the two screws securing the instrument panel to the panel cover (photo) and gently pull it out of its socket.



4. Behind the panel, disconnect the speedometer drive cable, then remove the panel.

5. Note the location of the electrical wiring connectors and vacuum hose, then disconnect them at the back of the panel (photo). Remove the instrument panel from the vehicle.



6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
