Suspension Self-Leveling Regulator Valve — Traction Adjustment (Audi 100 C3)

1. Take two beams 341 mm long and 50 x 50 mm in cross-section.

2. Place the vehicle on a pit or on an inclined plane to provide access to the regulator valve, place blocks at the measurement points (Fig. 10.17).



3. Load the luggage compartment so that the measuring points just touch the ends of the bars. This will require approximately 100 kg of cargo.

4. Loosen the two clamp bolts on the regulator rod (Fig. 10.18) and install the regulator valve by pushing it through the hole in the rod and the hole located on the valve body.



5. After installing the valve, tighten the bolts, remove the wire from the location hole.
