Fuel filter (Audi 100 C4)

The filter is designed to last a long time, so it does not need to be replaced as part of normal maintenance. Only when it becomes clogged should it be replaced.



On front-wheel drive vehicles, the filter (2) is located in front of the rear wheel well on the body. On Quattro models, it is on the right front end of the tank, however: to replace the filter (2) on Quattro models, the fuel tank and rear axle must be removed.
