Removing the front seats
Please note that in vehicles with heated seats and electrically adjustable seats, the plug connections of the connecting pipes must be disconnected.
Move the seats forward.
Remove the plug on the inner rail bar at the rear and unscrew the Phillips screw located under it.
Pull the bar back.
Unscrew the Phillips screw on the outer rail at the rear and remove the cover.
Seats with manual adjustment: Unscrew the fixing bolt at the front on the center rail and release the linkage with locking grooves.
Seats with electric adjustment: front right and left on the skid, remove the trim and unscrew the bolts located under it.
Left: To remove the mechanically adjustable headrests, lift up the decorative cover (1), then the retaining spring (2) pull aside.
Right: to remove the rear seat, one screw with a lock washer must be unscrewed on the right and on the left.
Raise the seat at the front, open the cable bundle bandage, disconnect the plug connectors.
All models: Pull the seat out towards the rear.
Before installation, check that the so-called sliders are not damaged on the outside of the seat supports and also at the front in the middle. Otherwise the seat will rock.
Removing head restraints. Mechanically adjustable head restraints only
The holes that the head restraint retaining pins enter have small spring clips that hold the head restraint.
Raise the decorative covering of the hole with a spoon or finger along the rear edge.
Remove the spring to the left from the socket with a narrow screwdriver.
Pull the headrest up.
To assemble, insert the spring clip in such a way that its straight section of the wire is directed to the rear.
Insert headrest.
Removing the rear seat
Cushion removal: Unscrew the two cross-head bolts in the front of the seat.
Pull out the pillow in an upward direction.
Removing the backrest (sedan): Remove the head restraints first.
Push the headrest guides upwards out of the luggage compartment.
Remove pillow (as described above).
Squeeze 2 metal earrings along the lower edge of the back.
Pull the back up.
