Removal the left shelf
The lower left part of the instrument panel trim, integrated with the shelf, must be removed in almost all cases where access to the back of the instrument panel is required.
Using a narrow socket wrench, loosen the five hex screws around the shelf.
Fold the shelf down a little and pull it towards you.
When installing, insert the front edge of the trim into both guides at the front 7 of the air duct.
Do not tighten the screws too tightly.
Removal the air duct
There is an air duct under the pad on the left, which often gets in the way when working in this area - for example, when replacing the clutch sensor cylinder. Removal:
Remove the cover on the left.
Remove the hex bolt from the right side of the channel.
Remove the air duct on the left from the guide and remove.
Removal the glove compartment
Open the glove compartment.
Disconnect the four plug-in fasteners at the glove box hinges.
Unfasten the glove box at the hinge points and remove it.
