The hard hatch needs to be lubricated (see chapter «Lubrication of all elements»). For information on the power sunroof, see chapter «Instruments and accessories».
Leaky sliding sunroof
The cause of a leaky sunroof is clogged drain pipes connected one to each of the four corners of the sunroof frame. While water can get in, it must also be able to drain.
Therefore, if the sliding sunroof is leaking, all four drain hoses must be purged.
Both rear drains are difficult to access even with the sunroof open (shine in the hatch box).
The front drain hoses exit at the height of the lower front door hinges. Both rear hoses end under the sidewalls of the rear bumper (side panels must be detached, see section «Removing the rear bumpers»).
