Doors and trunk lid
- Audi door hinges are maintenance-free. However, it is still best to lubricate them with a little oil from time to time.
- It is better to lubricate the small door stop levers of the lower door hinge with a general-purpose grease.
- Door locks, trunk lids or fifth door can be treated with aerosol lubricant.
- You can spray a small amount of oil on the trunk lid hinges.
Lock cylinders
- At a minimum, before the onset of cold weather, you should spray the lock slot with an insulating and rust-removing spray.
- It lubricates, displaces moisture and protects against rust and freezing in winter.
Hood
- Apply a little plastic grease to the place where the cable drive comes out of the casing and pull it into the casing by pressing the lever several times.
- The bonnet locking pins and both bonnet closing levers should be lubricated with a small amount of plastic grease or a lubricating spray.
- The hood hinges and latches should be lubricated with oil or lubricating spray.
Luke
- Treat the guides with a small amount of lubricating spray.
- The grease should not get on the upholstery of the hatch and ceiling, remove excess grease.
