Doors and trunk lid
- Audi door hinges are maintenance-free. But still, it is better to lubricate them with a small amount of oil from time to time.
- The small levers of the lower door hinge door stoppers are best lubricated with multipurpose grease.
- Door locks, luggage compartment lids or tailgate can be treated with an aerosol lubricant.
- You can spray the trunk lid hinges with a little oil.
Lock cylinders
- At least before the start of the cold season, spray an insulating and rust-removing spray into the slot of the lock.
- It lubricates, displaces moisture and protects against rust and freezing in winter.
Hood
- Apply a little grease to the point where the cable drive comes out of the sheath and pull it into the sheath by repeatedly pressing the lever.
- The hood locking pins and both hood lid closing levers should be lubricated with a small amount of grease or a lubricating spray.
- Hood hinges and latches should be lubricated with oil or grease spray.
Luke
- Treat the guides with a small amount of lubricating spray.
- Grease should not get on the upholstery of the hatch and ceiling, remove excess grease.
