When installing the gear shift lever, make sure that the spline is "arrow".

Press the lock of the gear selection cable "A" with the fork-type wrench "1" and the gear shift cable "B" with the fork-type wrench "1" and pliers "2" from the gearbox.

Removed cable clamps should be replaced.
Apply a small amount of polyurea grease "G 052 142 A2" to the spherical insert of the locking pin of the gear shift cable "A" and the gear selector cable "B". The seals of the "arrows" outside the ball joints must not contain grease.
Place the gear shift cable on the gear shift lever and the gear selection cable on the shift shaft lever "arrows".
