Instructions. The following points are the initial conditions for correct adjustment: perfect execution of the control elements and the transmission of the engagement drive. The switching mechanism has an easy movement. The gearbox, clutch and clutch drive must be in perfect condition. The gearbox is in the idle position.

Unlock the gear selector and shift cable lock as described below.

Pull the shift cable and gear selector cable safety mechanism forward until it stops in the "direction of arrow 1". Turn the sliding sleeve in the "direction of arrow 2" until it stops and lock the sliding sleeve. The cable must move in the lock. Lock the gear shift shaft as follows.

Move the gearshift lever in the "direction of arrow 1" downwards to set it on the 1st/2nd gear track. When pressing the shift shaft, press the locking pin "A" slightly in the direction of the shift shaft and then turn the locking pin "A" 90° in the "direction of arrow 2" until it is noticeably locked. This locks the shift shaft and it cannot be moved any more.

Lift the cover of the shift lever «1» in the direction of the arrow from the center console. Turn…

Lift the cover of the shift lever "1" in the direction of the arrow from the center console. Turn the cover upwards over the handle.

Fix the shift lever as follows: set the lever to the idle position to the left in the 1/2 gear "corridor". Insert the locking pin "T10027 A" through hole "A" into hole "B". Make sure that the gear selection cable and gear shift cable are inserted into the cable retainer without mechanical stress.

Turn the safety mechanisms on the shift and gear selection cables in the direction of the arrow…

Turn the safety mechanisms on the shift and gear selection cables in the direction of the arrow until they stop and release them. The spring will return the safety mechanism to its original position.

Return the locking pin «A» to its original position «arrow direction». The locking pin «A» is…

Return the locking pin "A" to its original position "arrow direction". The locking pin "A" is slightly extended from the gearshift cover. The locking pin "A" must be fully extended from the gearshift cover and facing vertically upwards. The shift ball must be able to move in the direction of gear selection (up and down).

Remove the locking pin «T10027 A» from holes «A» and «B». Install the gear shift lever boot.

Remove the locking pin "T10027 A" from holes "A" and "B". Install the gear shift lever boot.

Function

The shift lever should be on the 3/4th gear track when idling. Engage the clutch. Go through all the gears several times. Pay particular attention to the operation of the reverse gear lock. If jamming occurs when re-selecting the gear, check the play (run) of the shift shaft as follows: engage 1st gear, press the shift lever to the left until it stops and release it again. At the same time, monitor the shift shaft on the gearbox (2nd mechanic). When moving the gearshift lever, the shift shaft stroke should be about 1 mm in the "direction of the arrow". If this is not the case, adjust the gearshift mechanism again.
