Execution order
1. Reduce the pressure in the fuel system (see p. 3 of subsection 6.2.2).
2. Mark and disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel distributor (see Fig. Main elements of the fuel injection system), unscrewing the mounting bolts.
3. Loosen the three distributor mounting screws and remove the distributor. Make sure that the plunger does not fall out of the housing from below. If the plunger accidentally falls out, wash it in gasoline and insert it into the distributor housing with the open end down.
4. Install the distributor in the reverse order, replacing the distributor housing sealing ring. Before installing the distributor, check that the plunger moves freely up and down. Lock the distributor mounting screws with paint.
