Execution order
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Loosen the tightening bolt of the fuel supply line (see Fig. Main elements of the fuel injection system) to the pressure regulator in order to reduce the pressure in the fuel system. Then tighten the fuel line mounting bolt.
3. Mark and disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel filter by unscrewing the mounting nuts.
4. Loosen the clamp nut and remove the fuel filter from it.
5. Install the new filter in reverse order so that the arrow on the housing points towards the fuel flow.
