Order of execution
1. Open the heater tap.
2. Loosen the clamp (see fig. Cooling system of the four-cylinder engine) and remove the supply hose from the thermostat nozzle (3) or (20) (see fig. Cooling system of the five-cylinder engine) radiator. On five-cylinder engines, also disconnect and remove the heater supply hose.
3. Remove the cap from the expansion tank and drain the coolant.
4. Connect the removed hoses into place, tighten the clamps.
5. Pour coolant into the expansion tank until the level reaches the mark «min» on the expansion tank.
6. Start the five-cylinder engine and let it idle. In this case, the liquid level in the tank will fall. Add fluid to the reservoir until the level stops dropping. Stop engine.
7. Screw on the cap of the expansion tank.
8. Start the engine and let it idle until the fan turns on. Stop the engine and let it cool down. If, after the engine has cooled down, the coolant level in the reservoir is below the «min», add fluid to the tank.
