Disconnect the brake pad wear sensor connector.
Loosen the lower caliper mounting bolts, locking the guide pin.
Lift the caliper up.
Remove the brake pads.
Move the piston as far as possible into the cylinder with pliers, after removing some of the brake fluid from the reservoir if necessary.
Check the condition of the brake disc and piston dust cap
Check the correct position of the piston heat shield.
Install new brake pads and caliper.
Install new lower caliper mounting bolts and tighten them to 3.5 kgf·m
Connect the brake pad wear sensor connector.
Install the front wheels.
Press the brake pedal several times to set the pistons to the working position.
Restore the brake fluid level in the reservoir if necessary.
