Replacing the brake pads of the ATE brand of the front wheel: A - brake pad wear sensor connector; B - removal of the inner guide pin; B - collapse of the caliper and brake pads
Disconnect the brake pad wear sensor connector.
Remove the protective caps from the guide pins.
Turn out the guide pins with a socket wrench
Remove the brake caliper.
Remove the brake pads.
Move the piston as far as possible inside the cylinder with tongs, having previously removed some of the liquid from the reservoir if necessary.
Check the condition of the brake disc and piston dust cap.
Check that the piston heat shield is installed correctly.
Install new brake pads and caliper.
Wrap and tighten the guide pins with a torque of 2.5 kgf·m.
Install the protective caps on the guide pins.
Connect the brake pad wear sensor connector.
Install the front wheels.
Press the brake pedal several times to set the portion to the working position.
Restore if necessary-in the level of brake fluid in the reservoir.
