Maintenance and inspection (Audi 100 C3)

1. With the frequency given in Section "Maintenance" at the beginning of this manual, inspect the transmission parting surfaces and seals.

2. Also check the level and, if necessary, add transmission oil. The filler plug is located on the left side of the main gear housing, the oil level should be maintained up to the filler plug hole (photo). The oil drain plug is located below the filler plug.
