Cable operated clutch
2. To check the adjustment, measure the play in the clutch pedal, which must correspond to the data in the Specifications.
3. If adjustment is needed, open the hood to access the regulator.
4. Loosen the two locknuts, and twist the threaded collar of the cable to obtain the specified play. After adjustment, tighten the two locknuts (photo).
Hydraulically controlled clutch
5. Remove the package shelf to gain access to the clutch master cylinder.
6. Loosen the jam nut behind the yoke on the clutch master cylinder linkage linkage, turn the linkage until you get the correct pedal height.
7. Press the clutch pedal, then release it and check that the spring correctly returns the pedal to its original position. After returning the pedal, check that it does not touch the stopper. If the pedal touches the stop when not depressed, premature clutch wear may occur.
8. If the pedal works satisfactorily, tighten the clamp locknut and install the bag shelf.
