When a dual mass flywheel is installed, the driven disc should be installed on the flywheel with the longer side of the disc hub pointing toward the clutch pressure plate.
If a conventional flywheel is installed, the driven disk must be inserted into the flywheel so that the spring seat is directed towards the clutch pressure plate.
Caution: Pressure plate and diaphragm (plate-shaped) the spring cannot be disassembled and if damaged, they are replaced together. New pressure plates should be specially protected from corrosion and lubricated. In a new clutch, only the friction surface is generously lubricated, so a rag soaked in gasoline can be used to clean it.
