Replacing the dust filter (Audi 100 C4)

Audi requires that the dust filter, which has been installed as standard since August 1992, be replaced every 30,000 km.

Lift the cover of the waterproof casing.

Unlock the two latches of the dust filter, turn the filter slightly to the left and remove it.

Hint: cars without a dust filter are not as easy to retrofit as one would like. Since you will have to reinstall it from the battery under the back seat - due to the new thick wires, this is not so easy to do.
