
Removing the dust filter, step one: remove the right side of the black trim under the windshield. To do this, use a coin to turn the three rotary latches (1–3) to the left, loosen the screw (4) and remove the metal clip (5).

Removing the dust filter, step two: remove the waterproof casing cover (1) from the guides (2) on the right and left, then remove the filter insert (3).
Audi requires that the body ventilation dust filter be replaced every 30,000 km.
Execution order
1. Raise the windshield wipers to half height and stop in this position, turning off the ignition.
2. Open the hood.
3. Remove the right half of the black trim under the windshield. To do this, press the metal clip under the right wiper shaft, turn the three rotary latches 90° to the left with a coin and unscrew the hex bolt.
4. Lift the waterproof casing cover.
5. Lift the dust filter up and remove it from the housing.
6. When installing, push the drain bowl into the guides from the front.
