Permanent check
The exact tire pressures for your vehicle can be found on a decal affixed inside under the fuel tank cap.
Those who care about driving comfort should follow the values indicated there. If, for improved steering sensitivity, a slightly longer tire life and slightly lower fuel consumption, you are ready to put up with worse suspension comfort, then increase the pressure for summer tires by 0.2 bar.
Winter tires should in principle be inflated 0.2 bar more than indicated for summer tires.
A conventional spare tire must be inflated to the maximum pressure specified for the vehicle.
If the spare wheel is in the vehicle to save space, the tire pressure should be 4.2 bar.
Measure pressure with cold tires
Already after several kilometers of fast driving, the tire pressure rises by 0.2-0.4 bar. This increase in pressure due to heating has already been taken into account in the recommendations and therefore does not need to be lowered. Your best bet is to get your own tire pressure gauge, which can be used to check the pressure before starting a ride when the tires are cold.
