Constantly checking
The exact tire pressure readings for your vehicle are shown on a label located inside the fuel tank cap.
Those who value driving comfort should follow the values indicated there. If, however, you are willing to put up with worse suspension comfort for improved steering sensitivity, slightly longer tire life, and slightly lower fuel consumption, then increase the pressure values for summer tires by 0.2 bar.
Winter tyres should generally be inflated 0.2 bar more than specified for summer tyres.
A regular spare tire should be inflated to the maximum pressure specified for the vehicle.
If the spare wheel is placed in the vehicle to save space, the tyre pressure should be 4.2 bar.
Measure pressure when tires are cold
After just a few kilometers of fast driving, the tire pressure rises by 0.2-0.4 bar. This increase in pressure due to heating has already been taken into account in the recommendations, and therefore there is no need to lower it. It is best to get your own pressure gauge to check the air pressure in the tires, with which the pressure can be measured before the start of the trip, when the tires are cold.
