Constant control
1. The exact pressure settings for your vehicle can be found on the sticker inside the fuel filler flap.
2. Those who value comfort maintain the tire pressure indicated there. But if you are ready to sacrifice reduced ride comfort for more responsive steering, slightly longer tire life and slightly lower fuel consumption, then increase the air pressure in summer tires by about 0.2 bar.
3. Winter tyres should always be inflated 0.2 bar more than that specified for summer tyres.
4. The spare tire must always be inflated to the maximum pressure specified for the vehicle.
Tire pressure is checked when the tires are cold.
After a few kilometers of driving, the tire pressure increases by 0.2–0.4 bar. This increase in pressure due to the heating of the tires introduces an error and should therefore not be allowed. It is best to check the tire pressure before driving, while they are still cold.
