Removal
1. Remove the axle shaft from the vehicle (see subsection 7.5).
2. Remove the clamping clamps 8 and move the mudguard 11 from the outer hinge housing.
3. Release the retaining ring 10 by its tabs and press the outer CV joint off the axle shaft, applying force to the collar.
4. Remove mudguard 11.
Installation
1. Remove old lubricant.
2. Place 90 g into the hinge (models with 4-cylinder engines) or 120 g (models with 5-cylinder engines) consistent grease type "G6" or domestic grease SHRUS-4.
3. Install mudguard 11 on the axle shaft.
4. Press the joint assembly onto the axle shaft so that the retaining ring 10 snaps into place in the groove of the axle shaft.
5. Install new clamps 8 and tighten the locks onto them.
6. Install the axle shaft on the vehicle.
