Once a year it is necessary:
1. Clean the battery from dust and dirt. Wipe the battery surface with a cloth soaked in a ten percent solution of ammonia or soda ash to remove any electrolyte that has gotten onto the surface. Then wipe the battery surface dry.
2. Check the electrolyte level in the battery and add distilled water if necessary.
3. Check the battery voltage and recharge the battery if necessary.
4. Check and, if necessary, adjust the headlights.
