Maintenance of electrical equipment (Audi A6 C5)

In accordance with the maintenance plan, the following work must be performed.

All current consumers. Check the functionality of all consumers of the on-board electrical network.

Exterior lighting. Check the functionality and adjust the tilt of the optical axis of the headlights.

Battery. Check the electrolyte level and add distilled water if necessary.

Windscreen wipers. Check the rubber band of the wipers and make sure that the band is not worn out and does not "scrape" on the glass. Check whether the wipers go into the parking position. If necessary, adjust the angle of the wipers.

Windscreen and headlight washers. Check the functionality and level of the washing fluid, as well as the position of the jets.

Delete the previous information and enter the next vehicle maintenance date.

Checking consumers of the on-board network



Check the functionality of the devices listed below. If necessary, eliminate the identified faults. Depending on the vehicle configuration, some on-board network consumers may not be listed below.
  • Lighting devices: low and high beam headlights, fog lights, direction indicators, hazard warning lights, side lights, fog lights, reversing lights, brake lights, parking lights.
  • Interior lighting, glove compartment lighting, ashtray lighting, trunk lighting, ignition switch lighting, ignition switch lighting.
  • Sounds a warning signal when the lights or radio are not turned off.
  • All switches on the instrument panel.
  • On-board computer.
  • Instrument panel with all indicators, meters, lights and backlighting.
  • Sound signal.
  • Windscreen wipers and washers, headlight cleaner.
  • Front and rear cigarette lighter.
  • Electrically adjustable and heated exterior rear-view mirrors.
  • Electric windows.
  • Automatic sunroof.
  • Central locking, remote control.
  • Seat heaters and position adjusters, as well as a seat belt position adjuster.
  • Radio.
