Checking the oil pressure in the lubrication system (Audi 100 C3)

Disconnect the wires from the engine oil pressure sensor, remove the sensor and screw in the fitting of the control pressure gauge hose in its place.

Start the engine and bring the operating temperature of the oil in the system to 80°C.

Measure the oil pressure at idle and at a crankshaft speed of 2100 rpm, which should be equal to 0.3±0.15 and 1.1±0.2 kg/cm², respectively.

Remove the control pressure gauge and put the oil pressure sensor in place and connect the electrical wires to it.
