Removal and installation the coolant pump (Audi 100 C3)

Drain the coolant from the cooling system.

Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

Remove the generator.

Disconnect the hoses from the coolant pump.

Loosen the pump mounting bolts.

Remove the pump.

Remove the sealing cuff, which cannot be reused.

Thoroughly clean the surfaces to which the cuff adheres.

Install a new sealing cuff.

Install the coolant pump to the cylinder block.

Tighten the pump mounting bolts.

Connect the hoses to the coolant pump.

Install the generator.

Connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.

Fill the system with coolant.
