Introduction to the repair manual (Audi 100 C3)

This manual is a guide to the maintenance and repair of Audi "100" cars with 4- and 5-cylinder gasoline engines of models "100", "100 CC", "100 CS", "100 CD", "100 2.0 E", "100 2.2 E", "100 Avant", "100 Avant CC", "100 Avant CD", "100 Avant 2.0 E", "100 Avant 2.2 E", "100 Avant 2.3 E" 1983-1991 model years.

The manual is intended for employees of service centers and stations and repair shops, as well as for technically trained motorists. Therefore, in some cases, the structure of units, mechanisms and systems is presented without excessive detail, and the order of maintenance and repair is easily understood when reading the text or studying the drawings.

The manual provides detailed technical specifications of all units, mechanisms and systems of the vehicle and gives recommendations for performing maintenance and repair work.

Appendix I contains recommendations for the operation and maintenance of the vehicle, and Appendix II contains a table of the correspondence of domestically produced fuels and lubricants with foreign analogues. Appendix III contains general requirements for vehicle repair and reference dimensions of the body.
