Power steering
The steering rack is installed and removed together with the steering rod.
1. Subframe.
2. Crosspiece of stretchers.
3. Steering column.
4. Bolt: 30 Nm + 90°; replace when removed; always clean the threaded holes for bolts (for example, with a tap).
5. Nut: Replace when removed.
6. Sealing ring: replace when removed.
7. Return line. Insert the return line completely during installation.
8. Bolt: 80 Nm + 180°; replace when removed.
9. Steering mechanism with power steering and steering rods: repair, adjust.
10. Transverse thrust.
11. Cross-rudder tip. rods: various designs with long or short threaded hinge pin, compliance. When replacing, make sure that the thread on the steering wheel tip is correct. the thrust was long enough (there should be enough free threads left, about 5 mm). Otherwise, it is necessary to install a tip with a longer thread on the hinge pin.
12. Bolt: 20 Nm.
13. Pressure main. Insert the pressure line completely during installation.
14. Rubber cushion: 6 Nm.
15. Union nut: 40 Nm.
16. Nut: 6 Nm.
17. Nut: take into account the features of nuts of different designs and the tightening torque requirements; replace when removed.
18. Hub bearing housing.
Nut execution
Hexagonal nut with flange "A". Tightening torque: 20 Nm + 90°.
Twelve-point combination nut "B". Tightening torque: 100 Nm.
Hexagon - combination nut "C". Tightening torque: 110 Nm.
Removal and installation the power steering
Place the car on a lift. Clamp the suction hose "1" and return hose "2" with hose clamps "3094". Do not attach hose clamps "3094" for hoses with a diameter of up to 25 mm to the return hose "2" near the check valve. Otherwise, the check valve may be damaged. The non-return valve is located in the return hose "2" between the clamps, "arrows". Unscrew the front wheels.

Unscrew nut "1" of the cross steering wheel tip pin. rod "2" until it is flush with the thread of the finger. When loosening, if necessary, hold it from turning. To protect the threads, leave the nut on the pin screwed on for a few turns.

Press out the crossbar tip. remove the rods from the hub bearing housing using the T40010 A ball joint puller. Then unscrew the nut. Make sure that both arms of the puller lever are parallel to each other at the moment of maximum force application; correct the position if necessary. Remove sound insulation.

Unscrew nut "3" of rubber support "4".

Remove stabilizer "1". Remove strut crosspiece "4". Never lower the vehicle onto its wheels unless the accessory support, steering gear, or subframe crosspieces are properly installed.

Remove bolts "4" and remove pressure line "3." Remove return line "2." If necessary, carefully pry return line "2" out of the power steering mechanism using a screwdriver as a lever. Close the pipes in the power steering mechanism with clean plugs. Close the pressure line "3" and return line "2" with a clean plug.

Unscrew the "arrow" bolt. Disconnect the steering wheel. column "1" from steering gear "2".

Disconnect plug connection "1" and remove it from the el. mag. Servotronio valve "N119" "2".

Unscrew bolts "2" and remove nuts "3". Slightly move steering gear "5" to the right and remove it.

Installation
Installation in reverse order. Before installation, lightly lubricate the lip seals "1" and "5" with hydraulic oil. Fully insert the pressure line "3" and the return line "2" during installation.
Install stabilizer "1". Do not fully tighten both bolts "2", then tighten them. Install the crosspiece of the stretchers "4". Remove the hose clamps "3094" from the suction hose "1" and the return hose "2".

Set the power steering mechanism to the center position. Remove air from the steering wheel. Check the slave level. liquids in hydr. syst.. Check the tightness of all open connections of the lines. Adjust the wheel alignment angles.
Steering wheel alignment
Adjusting the steering wheel center position simply means "aligning" the steering wheel for subsequent work. The exact center position of the steering wheel can be determined by turning the steering wheel using the computer to adjust the wheel alignment angles. If, when determining the average position of the steering wheel, a deviation of the steering wheel is detected, it is necessary to check the steering wheel and suspension parts for damage or deformation, and replace damaged parts if necessary. You should also check the symmetry of the transverse handlebars. traction. Remove sound insulation. Set the power steering mechanism to the center position. Protrusion "1" should be opposite mark "2". Distance from the ends of the crossbars. the rods to the power steering mechanism on the left and right must be the same. This data is auxiliary when setting the steering wheel to approximately the middle position.
