Measuring oil temperature (Audi 100 C4)

It is necessary to measure the oil temperature when performing various adjustments using the MKM-596 device.

• The oil temperature must be measured at a distance of 10 mm from the bottom of the oil bath, for which the probe of the device is inserted into the measurement hole until it touches the bottom and is pulled back by 10 mm.
• The oil temperature in a running engine should be around +80°C.
