The additional relay block III (3) is located under the trim (1) on the right in the footwell of the passenger seated next to the driver. The sticker (2) explains the arrangement of the plug connections, which is often used for taxis and diesel vehicles. On our petrol vehicles, the control unit for the oxygen sensor heating is installed in position "1" (6-cylinder engine) or relay for preheating the intake pipe (4-cylinder engine with 74 kW power).
To get to the electronics unit on the right at the bottom of the passenger's footwell next to the driver, the rubber covering must be cut along the strip and the electronics unit cover (3) must be unscrewed. Thermal fuses (1) are located there (mainly for engine electronics) and control units (2). Designations: see figure on the right.
Electronics unit:
1 - injection and ignition control unit;
2 — Automatic transmission control unit;
3 - black thermal fuse;
4 - brown thermal fuse;
5 - red thermal fuse;
6 - yellow thermal fuse;
7 - code plug block;
8 - height sensor;
9 — control unit of the electric ignition system (for five-cylinder engine), on other engines, ignition and injection are combined.
