MOT No. 35
The change of the brake fluid is made necessary not only by the already mentioned risk of the formation of air bubbles, but also by the risk of corrosion in the brake cylinders and pipelines due to the absorption of moisture. When changing the brake fluid, proceed in the same way as when bleeding (described later in this chapter). You will need 2 liters of new brake fluid.
If possible, empty the brake fluid reservoir with an old medical syringe and immediately refill it.
Bleed the brake fluid until fresh fluid emerges from the bleed valve.
To do this, pump 500 cm3 of brake fluid through each valve. In this case, each drop will be guaranteed to be replaced.
Replacement sequence: rear right, rear left, front right, front left.
