Checking and adjusting the maximum speed (Audi 100 C3)

Execution order

1. Start the engine and after about 5 seconds of idling, turn on full fuel supply. The maximum speed should be for CD and 3D engines (without turbocharging) (5400±50) min⁻¹, and for DE and NC engines (turbocharged) (5100±50) min⁻¹.



2. If necessary, adjust the maximum rotation speed by turning the screw (1), after first loosening the lock nut (2).
