The characteristics of the starting injector are checked on a cold engine.
Disconnect the connectors of the control pressure regulator and the additional air supply valve.
Disconnect the connector from the starting injector.
Connect the voltmeter to the connectors of the starting injector block.
Briefly turn on the starter and measure the voltage, which should be at least 11.5 V.
Connect the connector to the starting nozzle.
Place the nozzle into the measuring cup.
Turn on the starter and record the duration of fuel injection by the starting injector, which on a cold engine, depending on the air temperature, should be within 1-8 s.
If there is any deviation from the norm, check the serviceability of the thermal time relay and the starting injector and, if necessary, replace them.
