Withdrawal
Place the vehicle on a lift or a pit and apply the parking brake.
Loosen the front wheel bolts and remove the wheel hub nut.
Raise the front of the car and remove the front wheel.
Loosen the nuts securing the stabilizer bar brackets to the subframe.
Unscrew the bolts securing the guide pads to the steering knuckle, hang the caliper assembly with the pads on the technological hook to the body so that the hose is not loaded.
Remove the brake disc.
Loosen the nut of the ball joint bolt of the suspension arm to the steering knuckle, then separate the arm from the steering knuckle.
Disconnect the tie rod ball joint pin from the suspension strut pivot arm.
Loosen the nut securing the anti-roll bar to the suspension arm.
Remove the anti-roll bar.
Press the splined shank of the outer wheel drive joint out of the hub using a VAG 1369 puller.
Remove the protective cap of the telescopic pole.
Loosen the nuts securing the upper support of the telescopic pole, holding it from below, then remove the pole.

Installation
Install the telescopic pole in the reverse order of removal, observing the tightening torques of the threaded connections and considering the following:
- clean the splines of the wheel drive shaft and hub;
- apply a layer of special type glue «D6» on the splined shank of the outer constant velocity joint at a distance of approximately 5 mm and reinstall the wheel drive.
