Removal
Place the vehicle on a lift or inspection pit and apply the parking brake.
Loosen the front wheel mounting bolts and unscrew the wheel hub mounting nut.
With the front of the vehicle raised, remove the front wheel.
Loosen the nuts of the bolts securing the stabilizer bar brackets to the subframe.
Loosen the bolts securing the brake pad guide to the steering knuckle, hang the caliper assembly with the pads on a technological hook to the body so that the hose is not loaded.
Remove the brake disc.
Loosen the nut of the bolt securing the ball joint of the suspension arm to the steering knuckle, then separate the arm from the steering knuckle.
Disconnect the steering tie rod ball joint pin from the suspension strut pivot arm.
Loosen the nut securing the anti-roll bar to the suspension arm.
Remove the anti-roll bar.
Press the splined tailpiece of the outer joint of the wheel drive out of the hub using the VAG 1369 puller.
Remove the protective cap from the telescopic stand.
Loosen the nuts securing the upper support of the telescopic strut, holding it from below, then remove the strut.

Installation
Install the telescopic stand in the reverse order of removal, observing the tightening torques of the threaded connections and taking into account the following:
- clean the splines of the wheel drive shaft and hub;
- apply a layer of special glue type "D6" to the splined tailpiece of the outer constant velocity joint at a distance of approximately 5 mm and install the wheel drive in place.
