Cut the roof panel with a chisel as close to the gutter as possible. Bend the upper ends of the middle struts, cut off the ends of the front and rear struts. Drill out the resistance welding points around the perimeter of the roof. Remove burrs from spot welds. Align and prepare mating surfaces for welding. If necessary, cut and replace damaged parts. Install, center and clamp the new part. Weld the part by contact welding around the perimeter (connection points with the front and rear cross members, as well as longitudinal reinforcements). Electric butt weld the front and rear pillars, clean the seams, tin tin and level the surface at the welding points.
